The Role of a Banker at Associated Bank
Embark on a rewarding journey with Associated Bank as a Banker. In this role, you’ll foster relationships with customers, provide exceptional service, and acquire the skills necessary to grow your career in banking. You’ll be responsible for processing transactions, assisting customers with their financial needs and suggesting solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
This opportunity allows you to gain practical, hands-on experience, complete banker certification, and make strides within our organization.
Key Accountabilities
- Promote excellent customer service by efficiently processing transactions and addressing customer needs.
- Spot opportunities to recommend products and services that promote customers’ financial wellness.
- Inaugurate new accounts and forge lasting relationships through personalized service.
- Collaborate with specialists across various teams like insurance, mortgage, etc., to provide comprehensive financial solutions.
- Uphold the operational integrity and compliance of the branch by adhering to all policies and regulations.
- Participate in the Banker Roadmap program, and meet training milestones and certification requirements.
- Guide customers on digital banking options and demonstrate tools that enhance their banking experience.
- Market bank offerings and engage potential customers through community and in-store outreach.
Education & Experience
Required
- A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Up to 2 years of experience in customer-facing sales and/or service.
- Ability to successfully pass required credit and regulatory checks.
Preferred
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or retail sales.
