Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you’ll be instrumental in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. Your primary responsibilities include accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
You’ll execute a wide range of tasks within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers about various banking products and services. You’ll use TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, deepen relationships, promote products, and refer customers to appropriate team members. A significant part of your role will also involve accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing a positive customer experience.
Education & Experience
As the ideal candidate, you will possess a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year’s experience working with customers. You must also demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have strong organizational abilities, and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work are also essential.
Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will consistently provide exceptional customer service while promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will also establish and nurture customer relationships by actively listening to customer needs while engaging in additional conversations to identify any additional needs and offer a solution or partner referral.
Physical Requirements
The job demands a mix of sedentary and active work, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting and carrying of items. You will also need to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and be able to respond quickly to sounds. Concentration for long periods of time is also a requirement for this role.
