The bank offers competitive pay, ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour, based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge. This is an exciting full-time position with a 40-hours work week.
What Does the Job Entail?
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in carrying out everyday banking transactions accurately. In addition to this, the role involves providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role requires the associate to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The Banking Associate also delivers end-to-end advice customers expect: building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
What Qualifications and Skills are Required?
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through various means, such as volunteering, education, or military experience. Essential skills for this role include excellent communication, effective problem-solving, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
What are the Physical Requirements?
The role requires performing sedentary work for a significant portion of the time, along with standing and walking frequently. The associate may also need to perform multiple tasks and operate standard office equipment. There may be occasional domestic travel required for this role. The ability to lift or carry items under 25 lbs is also occasionally required.
