Role of a Banking Relationship Specialist at ConnectOne
Our Banking Relationship Specialists play a crucial role in providing the ‘Client First’ banking experience that ConnectOne is known for. Their key responsibilities include acquiring, retaining, and expanding banking relationships of both business and consumer clients while upholding the ConnectOne Culture. They are often the first point of contact for our clients, handling customer service issues, conducting research, and ensuring all activities comply with the operational, security, and control procedures of the bank.
Key Qualifications and Skills
Our Banking Relationship Specialists are required to have strong needs-based sales skills, a detailed understanding of federal banking compliance and requirements, and an exceptional ability to assess and meet the needs of customers. They should also possess effective team-building and interpersonal communication abilities. Active participation in achieving branch sales objectives and supporting retail and community events to promote the brand in accordance with the retail business plan are also part of their responsibilities.
