Another significant aspect of the job is to analyze customer needs for cross-selling various bank services. The Sr. Account Manager also handles operational tasks such as reviewing and processing deposits, approving checks for cashing, and preparing outgoing wire transfers.

Qualifications and Experience

As with any senior role in banking, certain qualifications and experience are required. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is a basic requirement. In addition, at least six years of experience in client service, banking operations, or relationship management support is essential.

Applicants should also have a minimum of four years of experience with bank products and services such as deposits, wealth management, cash management, and international banking. Knowledge of risk management and compliance policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, is also crucial.

The compensation for this role ranges from $78,970 to $126,140 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and/or commissions.
