A BCM also has supervisory responsibilities. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the banking center staff. They must be able to foster the team concept that includes the banking center staff as well as employees from other lines of business.

Other skills and requirements for this role include proficiency in Microsoft 365, banking software, and digital services, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and be flexible. They should also have proven ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling, outside business development, and building a referral network.
