Job Summary
The bank is currently looking for a Business Banking Relationship Manager. This role is pivotal as it involves creating value for Business Banking relationships and Treasury Management relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for individual Relationship Managers’ production while promoting other products and services provided by Oxford Bank.
Primary Responsibilities
The Business Banking Relationship Manager will develop and manage an existing Business Banking portfolio and manage customer relationships around profitability and portfolio risk. Their key responsibilities also include growing and expanding the Business Banking portfolio by focusing on new businesses development. They are expected to build and maintain an external referral base, maintain a visible market presence, and meet with business owners to build strong relationships, identify needs, and recommend product solutions.
How You’ll Spend Your Time
As a Business Banking Relationship Manager, you’ll serve as a resource to a team of Business Bankers in the areas of marketing, new business development, and loan analysis and servicing. You’ll participate in community and professional activities to enhance the bank’s image and expand your network of business contacts for the development of new business.
Qualification and Skills
The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of professionalism, experience using Microsoft Office products, and demonstrate consistent and effective negotiation skills. They should also have a general knowledge of business deposit products and services and a thorough understanding of the current banking industry. Experience with mentoring and coaching team members is also a plus.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position, along with formal Credit Training. Candidates must also have at least 2-3 years’ experience managing business relationships.
