Compensation Range
At Commerce Bank, we offer a competitive compensation package. For this position, the hourly rate ranges between $23.20 – $26.90, depending on your relevant experience, skills, and competencies.
About This Job
This role primarily involves building strong and enduring relationships with a portfolio of clients, and delivering excellent customer service through the GUEST model.
Essential Functions
- Customizing and building an account team based on each client’s needs and providing consistent communication to all stakeholders
- Utilizing business leads to cultivate relationships, expand knowledge of clients, and further business objectives
- Building key partnerships with branch colleagues through joint referral calls
- Creating a referral pipeline as appropriate
- Providing ongoing education on offerings and changes within the assigned market
- Working on campaign leads to set appointments with clients and strategically plan contact timings
- Ensuring responsiveness to customer interactions within the CONNECT application
- Processing fraud alerts as necessary
- Performing other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- An intermediate understanding of banking policies and procedures
- Basic knowledge of investment acumen
- Ability to manage approval authority
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Commerce Bank’s driving record criteria
- Self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Adaptable and resilient with an optimistic outlook that aligns with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combined education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience in retail banking and/or financial services

This position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring you to be in office for 2 – 3 days per week.
