Job Purpose & Scope at Bank OZK
Bank OZK sets high standards of accountability for its team. As a Banking Center Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the banking center effectively and enthusiastically. Your role involves providing leadership, cultivating positive relationships with peers, business partners, and the community, and leading business development initiatives. Delivering exceptional customer service is a core expectation from all our team members.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Prospective candidates should possess:
- Knowledge of retail bank products and services
- Understanding of bank regulations, policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Expertise in business development techniques in a retail environment
- Ability to focus on quality, profitability, and efficiency for business growth
- Strategic thinking and goal translation into actionable tasks
- Leadership and training skills to inspire team to meet business objectives
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Confidentiality maintenance skills
- Adherence to policy and procedure, including safety and security protocols
- Identifying client needs for business development

Basic Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following basic qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of retail client service and/or business development experience
- 1+ year business development management/leadership experience strongly preferred
- Proven achievement of business growth goals and financial targets
- Experience managing, leading and coaching professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of bank products/services and regulations
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- NMLS required
