The role of a Banking Associate at TD Bank is a key one, as it involves delivering on TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The Banking Associate is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. The role involves a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts and educating customers on all banking products and services.
The Banking Associate is also responsible for delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, building trust with educational content and tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations. The role requires a good understanding of customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Location, Hours and Pay Details
The role of a Banking Associate is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America. The position requires 30 hours of work per week. The pay ranges from $22.00 to $27.75 USD per hour. Education and Experience Requirements
The minimum educational requirement for the role is a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred, and this can be demonstrated through a variety of ways such as volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred skills include demonstrated customer service skills, teller experience, and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear and consistent, and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
