The base pay offered for this role ranges from $23.75 – $31.00 USD, with the actual amount varying based on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Your Role as a Banking Associate
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The associate is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
As a Banking Associate, you will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. These tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will deliver comprehensive advice to customers, build trust with educational content & tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights & recommendations.
Utilizing TD’s systems and tools, you will engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance to ultimately attract, and retain, the customer. You will understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services, and/or refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience. Demonstrated customer service skills, strong organization skills, excellent communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred but not required.
Customer Accountabilities and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will establish and nurture customer relationships, actively listening to customer needs while engaging in additional conversations to identify any additional needs and offer a solution or partner referral.
From the shareholders’ perspective, you will ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer.
