Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking and plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. The role involves performing a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
As a Banking Associate, you will be tasked with delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. You will also utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships, understand customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products and services, and accurately complete everyday banking transactions either on the teller line or on the platform.

Education and Experience
The ideal candidate for this role should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity, which can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a Notary License are preferred.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands for this role include frequent sedentary work, performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. A Banking Associate is also expected to frequently sit, stand, and walk, with occasional domestic travel, lifting/carrying under 25 lbs., and performing work in confined spaces.
