Hours and Pay Details
The role of Banking Associate is part-time, requiring 20 hours of work per week. The compensation offered for this position ranges between $22.00 and $27.75 USD. Job Description
The Banking Associate is a key role in upholding TD’s brand promise. This role requires accurately processing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role necessitates a deep understanding of customers’ financial needs, an ability to identify opportunities, and a flair for promoting and educating on products and services.
Education and Experience
The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include one year of customer-facing experience, which could be from various sectors such as volunteering, education, or military service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus, and a notary license is preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is responsible for consistently providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. The associate will nurture customer relationships, manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy, and drive referrals to Store colleagues and partners.
Physical Requirements
The role of Banking Associate includes a mix of sedentary and active tasks, such as responding quickly to sounds, standing, walking, lifting and carrying items under 25 lbs, and performing multiple tasks. The position may require occasional domestic travel.
