As a Banking Consultant at Suncorp Bank, you become part of an innovative hybrid work culture that strikes the perfect balance between in-office presence and remote work. Following completion of training and familiarisation with the role, you will enjoy the flexibility of splitting your time evenly between our office and your preferred remote location. As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to simplify the often complex world of financial matters for our valued customers. Your role will be primarily based in our inbound contact centre, where you will not just meet customer expectations, but exceed them with each interaction.
Role Type and Location
We are currently offering multiple full-time vacancies at our Heritage Lanes branch, located at 80 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. Two roster options are available: a Monday to Friday schedule, starting between 7AM and 10AM, or a Tuesday to Saturday schedule with the same start times. All roles are 37.5 hours per week.

What does a day as a Banking Consultant look like?
As a Banking Consultant, your key responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service by providing efficient solutions and responses to customer enquiries, handling everyday banking enquiries, account openings, and processes via telephone. You will also actively listen, build trust, and ask relevant questions to exceed customer expectations and improve outcomes and contribute to maintaining a balanced team culture that prioritises people, customers, risk, and performance.
What do you need to bring?
For you to excel in this role, we expect you to bring with you a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, proficiency in using computer systems and ability to navigate multiple systems, strong verbal communication skills, high resilience, empathy, and adaptability. Previous call centre experience is desirable but not necessary. We also value candidates who are committed to self-development and are eager to enhance their skills and capabilities in the role, and those who can work collaboratively as a supportive team member.
