USAA’s in-office development program provides the necessary training and encouragement to develop a proactive and independent support style for servicing their membership. The company is currently looking for dedicated professionals to work in its Tampa office for future bank customer service and sales opportunities in 2026. The schedules are wide-ranging, with a shift differential of 15% for any weekday hours worked after 6:00 pm and any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday. However, it is important to note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handling inbound member calls in a high-volume, fast-paced contact center environment
- Using effective communication and probing questions to identify member needs
- Efficiently navigating between systems and resources
- Following written policies and procedures to provide relevant solutions
- Advising and educating members on digital tools and resources
- Using critical thinking to determine additional member needs and solutions
- Attracting new members and expanding relationships with current members through product acquisition
- Providing exceptional member service by demonstrating empathy, active listening, and professionalism
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required
- Up to 1 year of customer service, financial services member contact experience or military experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, including navigating through multiple business applications
- Successful completion of a job-related assessment is required

USAA offers a competitive compensation range of $43,680.00- $44,680.00, depending on experience and market data of the position.
