What is the Role of a Banking Associate?
As a Banking Associate, you will play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. It also includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. Furthermore, you will be responsible for offering consultative support, advocating with proactive insights & recommendations, and utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers to attract and retain them.
What Qualifications and Skills Are Required?
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work are important for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a Notary License are preferred. The candidate should also be available to work during operating hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
What Are the Customer, Shareholder, and Employee/Team Accountabilities?
As a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. You will also need to manage wait times and engage in lobby leadership as the first point of contact for customer inquiries. In terms of the shareholder accountabilities, you will be required to ensure compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations. As part of the team, you are expected to contribute to a positive work environment by aligning with TD Model, Brand, and Culture, and participating fully as a team member.
