As a banking associate, you will play a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise, performing a wide range of tasks, and providing top-tier customer service. You will be responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Role and Responsibilities
As a banking associate, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks. These include processing customer transactions, delivering end-to-end advice customers expect, advocating with proactive insights & recommendations, and understanding customer financial needs to identify opportunities to promote and educate on products, services.
Additionally, you will handle everyday banking transactions, service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, and manage customer inquiries and appointments. You will also be responsible for running compliance/risk and control programs and ensuring compliance with internal/external audit and regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience
For this position, you are required to have a high school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with customers. If you have teller experience and a Notary License, it would be preferred. Also, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
While the role is mostly sedentary, it does require frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional physical exertion such as lifting/carrying items under 25 lbs. Domestic travel may be required occasionally, and you should be able to operate standard office equipment, concentrate for long periods of time, and perform multiple tasks.
