A Glimpse into the Role
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and extending educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The role further entails delivering end-to-end advice customers expect through building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
What TD Bank is Looking For
TD Bank seeks candidates with a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, military service, or other means. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus, and a Notary License is preferred. The ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled, is also required.
Customer Accountabilities
The Banking Associate consistently provides legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. They establish and nurture customer relationships and manage wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling client meetings. They also engage in lobby leadership and represent the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
