Role, Compensation, and Work Hours
As a Banking Associate, you’ll be instrumental in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location, conducting everyday banking transactions, offering vital advice, and providing educational support on banking services, products, and tools. The salary range for this full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, is $23.75 – $31.00 USD per hour. Job Description and Requirements
The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks encompassing multiple areas within a store location, from processing customer transactions to opening new accounts and educating customers on banking products and services. The role demands a high school diploma or GED, along with at least a year’s experience of customer interaction, preferably demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service. Teller experience is preferred, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, organizational prowess, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Customer, Shareholder, and Employee Accountabilities
The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary service to both new and existing customers, nurture customer relationships, manage wait times, and support the bank’s customer service strategy. Shareholder accountabilities include adherence to company guidelines and regulations, accurate processing of transactions, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. The role also involves active contribution to a positive work environment, personal performance and development activities, collaboration with team members, and fostering a unique, inclusive workplace culture.
Physical Requirements of the Position
The role involves frequent sedentary work and multiple tasks, continuous operation of standard office equipment, and regular standing and walking. Occasional domestic travel may be required. The job also demands occasional lifting/carrying, squatting, bending, kneeling, and crawling, along with concentration for extended periods, and continuous reading, writing, comprehending instructions, and arithmetic calculations.
