The Role of a Banking Associate at TD
As a Banking Associate, you will play a key role in upholding TD’s brand promise at a store location. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately handle everyday banking transactions, while providing advice and education on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. This role falls under the Personal & Commercial Banking line of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer transactions and opening new accounts
- Providing consultative support and proactive insights to customers
- Utilizing TD’s systems and tools to deepen relationships with customers
- Accurately completing banking transactions and uncovering customer financial needs
- Servicing customers with personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, and digital banking issues
- Generating leads, managing customer outreach, and prioritizing leads effectively
Qualifications and Experience
TD seeks candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least a year of experience working with customers, which could be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a Notary License is preferred.

As a Banking Associate, you will establish and nurture customer relationships, manage wait times, engage in lobby leadership, and drive referrals to meet the broader financial needs of customers.
