Job Summary
The Client Consultant II – Licensed is a vital role within the Branch Banking sector. This position focuses on client management, client retention, and introductions to key bank partners (Mortgage, Business Banking) to ensure clients have access to experts who can help them achieve their financial goals. The role involves greater lending and basic investment interactions and will participate in more complex banking conversations with clients. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.13 to $28.69.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance
The role requires supporting team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance and primary client acquisition. The Client Consultant II – Licensed is expected to actively seek and deliver the right client introductions to the right team member(s) to achieve growth targets and execute successful sales initiatives.
Client Experience
Providing a positive client experience is paramount. This entails assisting with account questions, problems, and/or complaints and resolving them in a timely and effective manner. The role involves delivering client engagement and education, meeting behavioral activity goals as defined by Retail Leadership.
Risk Management
Risk management is another crucial part of this role. The Client Consultant II – Licensed is expected to execute all sales, service, and banking transactions accurately and compliantly, striving for no controllable losses.
Job Requirements
The role requires a High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent education level. A minimum of 4 – 5 years of customer service and sales experience is required, preferably in the financial services industry. The role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. The ability to train and mentor others is also a requirement. Licenses including Life and Health Insurance Licenses, FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA License Series 6, and FINRA License Series 63 or Series 66 are also required within specified timelines.
