Role and Responsibilities
The Compliance Director, Fair and Responsible Banking Advising at TD Bank will be overseeing the Bank’s Fair and Responsible Banking program related deliverables, which includes developing and maintaining critical Fair and Responsible Banking programs. The role is accountable for Fair and Responsible Banking related exam and audit management as well as the remediation of any Fair and Responsible Banking program issues.
Additionally, the role is responsible for managing compliance aspects of the applicable fair lending laws, including the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Housing Act, as well as Fair and Responsible Banking related expectations communicated by the OCC, FRB, and CFPB.
Eligibility and Skills Required
The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of related experience. They should possess in-depth working knowledge of the financial services industry and applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, leadership skills, and database programming capabilities are among the essential skills required.
