Job Description and Scope
As a Banking Associate at TD, you will play a pivotal role in the customer experience by providing comprehensive banking services with accuracy and efficiency. The role encompasses a wide range of tasks from processing customer transactions to providing advice and support on banking products and services.
Your key duties will include establishing and nurturing customer relationships, understanding their financial needs, providing advice, making recommendations, and referring customers to appropriate team members or internal Bank partners. You will also be responsible for managing self-generated leads, customer outreach, and lead prioritization.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED. A year of experience working with customers either in military service, education, or volunteering is preferred. Other preferred qualifications include teller experience, strong organizational and communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is also preferred.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be expected to provide legendary customer service while promoting TD products to both new and existing customers. You will also be tasked with managing client meetings, engaging in lobby leadership, and understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy. Shareholder accountabilities include ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations and accurately processing transactions.
