The Banking Associate is a professional in banking who is responsible for accurate completion of everyday banking transactions. They provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The role involves a wide range of tasks in various areas within a store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers on all banking products and services, and much more.
As a Banking Associate, you will engage with customers to deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance. This role involves understanding customer financial needs, identifying opportunities, and promoting products and services. You will also refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Eligibility Criteria and Desired Skills
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, at least a year’s experience of working with customers in any capacity is preferred. This can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience.
Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently within deadlines are crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and a Notary License is preferred.

Compensation and Total Rewards Package
