TD Bank is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Banking Associate at their Avon, Connecticut location. This role offers a pay range of $22.00 – $27.75 USD per hour based on a 40-hour work week.
Role and Responsibilities of the Banking Associate
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking, who plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals.
As a Banking Associate, you will be required to perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location. This includes processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. You will also be responsible for delivering end-to-end advice customers expect: building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations.
Experience and Skills Required
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred but not necessary. The ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Most importantly, the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to schedule and prioritize work. A Notary License is preferred.

Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for the role include performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. The role also requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Occasional domestic travel may also be required.
