Key Responsibilities
The Banking Associate position is a diverse role that spans multiple areas within the store. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, delivering end-to-end advice, and utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers. You will also be expected to accurately complete everyday banking transactions either at the teller line or on the platform while uncovering customer financial needs and educating on products, services, and tools.
Preferred Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. Teller experience, excellent communication skills, strong organization skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also preferred. A strong ability to work independently and the ability to schedule and prioritize work are essential for this role.
Customer Service Excellence
Additionally, the Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. This role is all about establishing and nurturing customer relationships and managing wait times efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and will play an integral part in orchestrating customer walk-in traffic.
