Key Responsibilities and Expectations

The successful candidate will perform everyday banking transactions accurately and will be expected to provide advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate will also be responsible for opening new accounts, educating customers on all banking products and services, and delivering end-to-end advice to customers.

Customer Accountabilities

The Banking Associate will be expected to consistently provide legendary customer service, establish and nurture customer relationships, and manage clients’ wait time to meet with a Banker. They will also be responsible for understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy and ensuring tasks are performed within established policy and procedures.

Shareholder Accountabilities

Ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations, accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, and other account servicing requests are among the responsibilities of the Banking Associate. They will also be accountable for maintaining cash limits and securing cash drawers/stations/balances.

Employee/Team Accountabilities

The Banking Associate will be expected to contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand, and Culture. They will be an active participant in personal performance and development activities and will collaborate with team members to contribute to the success of the team and organization.

Education and Experience

Applicants should hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, military experience, or other relevant avenues. Skills in communication, problem-solving, and organization are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required, and a Notary License is preferred.

Physical Requirements

This role involves occasional domestic travel and frequent sedentary work. Candidates should be capable of performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. The role also requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
