Key Responsibilities of a Senior Associate Vendor Manager
Process & Project Management
To ensure smooth operations, the Senior Associate Vendor Manager is tasked with managing a variety of responsibilities related to process and project management. This includes developing and maintaining documented procedures that align with corporate policies, analyzing and optimizing operational procedures for quality and efficiency, and leading moderate to large projects while ensuring timely and on-budget delivery. Collaboration with stakeholders to align project delivery with business objectives is also part of the role. Furthermore, the Senior Associate Vendor Manager creates and manages tailored process communications, including executive updates, and maintains formal process/project oversight documents.
Vendor & Equipment Oversight
In the capacity of vendor and equipment oversight, the Senior Associate Vendor Manager serves as the primary point of contact for frontline equipment like Ricoh Printers and guides business divisions. This role also involves managing vendor relationships at branch/cafu00e9 locations, ensuring efficient onsite services, and coordinating equipment logistics (installation/removal). The manager is also expected to optimize vendor spend, manage contracts/invoices, oversee equipment inventory, and drive simplification in supply ordering, vendor performance, and capabilities.
Efficiency & Value Delivery
The Senior Associate Vendor Manager plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency and value delivery. They are tasked with identifying and implementing process improvements through cross-team collaboration, collecting and analyzing data to ensure frontline device efficiency, and supporting frontline operations. The role also includes creating and obtaining approval for the yearly vendor budget.
Qualifications and Experience
For this role, a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification is a basic requirement, along with at least three years of experience in Process Improvement or Project Management. Familiarity with Google Suite or Microsoft Office is also essential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree or military experience, at least four years of Process Improvement or Project Management Experience, and at least two years’ experience working in Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, or Google Data Studio. PMP, BPM, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification is also highly desirable.
Work Flexibility and Remuneration
This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model where the associate is expected to spend three days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually. The remuneration is competitive and commensurate with the skills and experience of the candidate. Performance-based incentive compensation is also part of the package, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
