TD Bank is looking for a Banking Associate to join their team in Greenville, South Carolina, United States of America. The selected candidate will be working 30 hours per week with a pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $27.75 USD. Job Description: Banking Associate
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking, who plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. This role is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. The position involves a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts and educating customers on all banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is responsible for building trust with educational content & tools, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights & recommendations. The role also involves using TD’s systems and tools to engage with Customers to acquire and deepen relationships, understanding customer financial needs to identify opportunities, and promoting and educating on products, services.
Education & Experience
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate position should have a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of experience working with customers. This can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience. Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated effective problem-solving skills are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a Notary License is preferred.
Customer Accountabilities
A Banking Associate at TD Bank consistently provides legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The role involves managing wait times to meet with a Banker by scheduling, rescheduling or canceling client meetings, and understanding and supporting the Bank’s customer service strategy.
Shareholder Accountabilities
The role requires compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations such as Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act to minimize risk and protect the customer. The Banking Associate will accurately process cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests.

They are expected to be an active participant in personal performance and development activities, act as a brand champion both internally and externally, and actively seek opportunities to improve delivery of work with high attention to quality standards.
Physical Requirements
The role involves performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, responding quickly to sounds, sitting, standing, and walking frequently. The Banking Associate may also need to lift/carry items under and over 25 lbs occasionally.
