Vice President – Partnership Manager – Open Banking – Transaction Banking Product, TD Securities
TD Securities is seeking to bring on board a dynamic and strategic Partnership Manager for its Global Transaction Banking team. This position, at the Vice President level, presents an opportunity for a seasoned professional to work in a role that stretches across multiple lines of business within the Product Factory.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and fostering new partnership opportunities. The role involves assessing the suitability of potential partners, negotiating agreements, building strong initial relationships, and driving partnership initiatives from concept to execution. A major emphasis is placed on partnerships that enable open banking and API-led connectivity, such as account data access, payments initiation, and embedded banking use cases.
The role involves proactive sourcing and evaluation of new partnerships, conducting market scans and competitive analysis, assessing prospective partners for strategic fit, financial stability, and technical capability. The Partnership Manager will lead deal negotiations, define partnership KPIs and deliverables, oversee the vendor management lifecycle, and act as a trusted advisor to product, technology, and business leaders.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate would have 6-9 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances within the financial services or technology sectors. They must have proven success in sourcing, negotiating, and onboarding partners in complex, regulated environments.
Furthermore, deep knowledge of transaction banking products, services, and market trends, including open banking/open finance ecosystems and fintech capabilities, are preferred. Familiarity with open banking technical and security concepts and partnership governance models is also a plus.
