The Role of a Banking Associate at TD
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the store location. This position is responsible for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location and interacts directly with customers, building trust and providing consultative support.
Key Responsibilities of a Banking Associate
Key responsibilities include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. The Banking Associate is also responsible for building and deepening customer relationships by providing proactive insights and recommendations. The Banking Associate also services the customer’s needs, including opening/closing personal deposit accounts, everyday bank transactions, addressing debit card/credit card issues, and assisting with mobile and online banking.
Qualifications and Experience
For this role, a high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. Teller experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.
