One of the key requirements for the role is proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and various AWS tools and services.

Qualifications for a Senior DevOps Engineer Role

The basic qualifications for the position include a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in DevOps Engineering. Candidates must also have at least two years of experience with Cloud Native technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Unix or Linux system administration.

The preferred qualifications include two or more years of experience with Terraform or Ansible, container orchestration services such as Docker or Kubernetes, coding in Java or Golang, working with Agile Development Practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
