Role Details and Compensation

The Banking Associate role is a full-time position, offering a 40-hour work week. The proposed pay range is between $22.00 and $27.75 per hour, with the final offer depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. TD ensures fair compensation, allowing candidates to progress through the salary range over time as they advance in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

The Banking Associate plays a significant role in delivering TD’s brand promise. The role involves performing a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, educating customers about banking products and services, providing financial advice, and deepening relationships. The associate also plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining customers by using TD’s systems and tools effectively.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any capacity, including volunteering, education, or military experience. Other preferred skills include strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.

Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

The Banking Associate is expected to consistently provide legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD products to new and existing customers. The associate also ensures compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act, to minimize risk and protect the customer.

As a member of the TD team, the Banking Associate contributes to a positive work environment and collaborates with team members to contribute to the success of the team and organization. Physical Requirements

The Banking Associate role involves frequent sedentary work, performing multiple tasks, and operating standard office equipment. The role also requires responding quickly to sounds, moving safely in confined spaces, and occasionally lifting or carrying items under 25 lbs.
