As a Banking Consultant, you’ll be expected to educate members about various financial products and services, including digital solutions, and sell them based on their needs. Your role is crucial in ensuring transactions are completed accurately, promptly, and courteously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Banking Consultant, you will be tasked with various responsibilities aimed at enhancing the member experience and promoting the organization’s mission. These include:
- Assisting members with routine transactions, including teller machine transactions.
- Creating an exceptional member experience by responding to and resolving member requests expertly.
- Consulting with members to identify their financial needs and recommending suitable Magnifi Financial products and services.
- Maintaining cash drawers, cash recyclers, and ATM machines, including depositing and restocking.
- Performing a wide array of account services such as setting up mobile deposit, mobile banking, digital banking, credit and debit card activation, debit card inquiries, transfers, funding loans, handling debit card inquiries, address changes, stop payments, transfers, check orders, etc.
- Transforming the face of banking by encouraging and coaching members to adopt new digital solutions like mobile banking, digital banking, and ATM use.
- Participating actively in community relations efforts, thereby contributing to the mission and visibility of Magnifi Financial.
Occasionally, you may also be required to perform opening and/or closing duties for the branch.
Education and Experience
To qualify for this role, you will need a high school diploma or be currently pursuing one. A two-year degree is preferred. Moreover, prior experience in customer service and/or sales is required. Though optional, a Notary Public designation can be beneficial in this position.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position varies from $17.80/hr. through $26.70/hr. Salaries are determined based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package will also vary depending on the position and may include bonuses, performance-based incentives, commission, and/or discretionary bonuses.
