The Role and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking who plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at a store location. They are responsible for accurately completing daily banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
The associate will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. They will also deliver end-to-end advice customers expect, build trust with educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations.
Education and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should have at least a high school diploma or GED and at least 1-year experience working with customers in any capacity. This experience can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The candidate should also have demonstrated customer service skills, the ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
The role has specific physical requirements, including but not limited to performing sedentary work, performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, responding quickly to sounds, sitting, standing, and walking frequently. The role may also require occasional domestic travel.
