Role and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be primarily responsible for conducting everyday banking transactions and providing advice to customers on various banking services, products, and tools. This role also entails processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on the full suite of banking products and services offered by TD. You will also be expected to build trust with customers, provide consultative support, and offer proactive insights and recommendations tailored to their financial needs.
Education and Experience
To qualify for this role, you should have at least a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of customer service experience, demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, while experience as a teller and a Notary License are advantageous.
Key Accountabilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be accountable to the customers, shareholders, and your team. For customers, you are expected to provide legendary customer service, establish and nurture customer relationships, and manage wait times for banking services. For shareholders, you are expected to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations, process transactions accurately, and apply customer authentication principles. Physical Requirements
The role requires frequent sedentary work, multiple tasks handling, and operating standard office equipment. Occasional domestic travel may be required. The ability to respond quickly to sounds, move safely in confined spaces, and concentrate for long periods of time is also necessary.
