Position Summary: Banking Consultant at Magnifi Financial
At Magnifi Financial, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic banking consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to our members. The role involves consulting with members personally, on the phone, and through digital channels. It will also involve educating members about our products and services, including digital solutions, and selling these to them. The consultant will be expected to perform member transactions accurately, promptly, and courteously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a banking consultant, your responsibilities will be varied and diverse. You will be expected to assist members with all routine transactions, including those involving teller machines. Furthermore, you will be required to create a remarkable member experience by providing expert responses and resolutions to member requests.
Consultation and Recommendation
You will work closely with members to identify their financial needs and recommend the most suitable Magnifi Financial products and services. This may require making referrals to the appropriate departments.
Operational Duties
The role also entails maintaining a cash drawer, managing the day-to-day operation of ATM machines, including deposits and restocking, and performing a wide range of account services. These services may include setting up mobile deposit, mobile banking, and digital banking, activating credit and debit cards, handling debit card inquiries, processing address changes, stop payments, transfers, check orders, and more.
Transformation of Banking
As a banking consultant, you will be expected to transform the way banking is done by encouraging and coaching members to adopt new digital solutions, such as mobile banking, digital banking, and ATM’s. This role may also involve performing opening and closing duties for the branch.
Education and Experience
The position requires a high school diploma or the equivalent, and a two-year degree is preferred. Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is also required. Notary Public designation in this position is optional.

Pay Transparency
At Magnifi Financial, we believe in pay transparency. The salary range for this position is $18.91/hr. through $26.70/hr., although the actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, internal equity, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
