The Role of the Market Research Associate, North American Banks
Fitch is currently seeking a Market Research Associate/Senior Market Research Associate based in our New York office. This marketing and relationship management support role will report to a Senior Director on the Banks team. The primary objective of this role is to originate new ratings mandates while managing and optimizing key existing relationships in this dynamic sector.
The candidate will be responsible for several tasks critical to managing a large portfolio and deal pipeline. Exceptional data management skills are essential to succeed in this role. The candidate will have direct responsibility for tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records for a high volume of transactions. This includes involvement in data management tasks related to commercial agreements, invoicing, and revenue reporting.
Opportunities and Responsibilities
As a Market Research Associate, you will have the opportunity to participate in market-facing activities, directly involve in revenue-critical functions, develop research, marketing, and presentation skills. You will also have the unique opportunity to grow within Fitch, developing strategic marketing and client management skills.
Your responsibilities will include tracking and organizing data, coordinating with Fitch’s finance team for invoicing and revenue management, conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and preparing commercial agreement documents.

We are looking for candidates with a relevant university degree, excellent Excel/data analytic skills, strong PowerPoint presentation skills, and excellent communication skills.
