European STEM Students Compete for Citadel Securities Quant Invitational
If you’re a European STEM student with aspirations of becoming a quant at Citadel Securities, you may want to consider participating in their upcoming competition. Citadel Securities is known for its rigorous selection process, with only 0.4% of applicants being accepted for internships worldwide. To stand out from the crowd, winning a Citadel Securities competition could be a game-changer.
Citadel Securities is hosting a new competition for aspiring quants in Europe. The Citadel Securities Quant Invitational, taking place from April 15th to 18th, will feature teams of mathematics, statistics, physics, and computer science students competing to develop fully systematic trading strategies.
Competition Details
Participants will be judged on their research processes, modeling decisions, results, judgment, rigor, and collaboration. The winning team will receive $10k, an all-expenses-paid trip to London, and valuable exposure that could enhance their chances of securing an internship at Citadel Securities.
To be considered for the Quant Invitational, students must apply by March 6 and compete for a spot in the competition. This year marks the first time the event is being held in London, with a similar competition in the US being highly competitive.
