The base pay for the Banking Associate role varies between $23.75 to $31.00 USD per hour, depending on the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographical location, and other business and organizational needs.
Banking Associate Role
The role of the Banking Associate is pivotal in delivering TD’s brand promise at a store location. This professional is accountable for accurately completing everyday banking transactions and providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in various areas within a store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. They are expected to build trust with customers through educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations. They utilize TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers to acquire and deepen relationships by providing advice and guidance.
Education and Experience Requirements
Candidates for the Banking Associate role are required to have at least a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with customers in any capacity, such as volunteering, education, or military experience, is preferred. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated effective problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and having a Notary License is preferred.
Physical Requirements
The Banking Associate role involves a combination of sedentary work and physical tasks. These include occasional domestic travel, performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds. The job also requires frequent sitting, walking, and standing. Less frequent tasks include lifting and carrying items, squatting, bending, and kneeling.
