Leading Innovation Through Open Banking
The selected Product Manager will be expected to ignite their passion for product innovation, leading customer-centric development, inspiring solutions, and shaping the future with their strategic vision and influence. They will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Open Banking Developer Portal, working closely with engineering, design, and architecture teams to implement new features and ensure a best-in-class APIs experience.
The role will also involve writing initiatives, epics, and stories in JIRA, collaborating with product, engineering, design, data, architecture, and stakeholder teams. Maintaining and organizing technical documentation, API reference guides, and onboarding materials related to Open Banking APIs will also be part of the job responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills for the Role
The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). They must have at least 2+ years of experience in a technical, product, or support role and be familiar with Open Banking concepts, API standards (such as REST), and regulatory requirements. Experience with agile product development techniques and practices is also a requirement.
Beyond these, the candidate should be detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. The ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment is crucial for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with developer portals, technical documentation, or developer communities.
