Role of a Banking Associate at TD
The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the branch. This job entails accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. This role requires you to deliver end-to-end advice, build trust with educational content and tools, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations. The job also requires you to accurately complete everyday banking transactions, service customers with opening/closing personal deposit accounts, and manage bank transactions.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and preferably, one year of experience working with customers in any capacity. The ability to work during operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, is a necessity. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected, while a notary license is preferred.
