Your Role

UBS Bank USA is in search of a dynamic individual who is highly organized, forward-thinking, and possesses a unique blend of skills. As part strategist, part project manager, and part relationship manager, the prospective candidate must have extensive experience and a deep passion for data management and governance. The role is situated in our BUSA Chief Data Office, a department that is integral to ensuring complete, timely, accurate, and transparent reporting.

The BUSA Chief Data Office plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Bank’s Data Management Framework (DMF) implementation, with a focus on streamlining and governing the Bank’s approach towards data risk.

Your Responsibilities

As Data Management Specialist, you will be expected to perform a variety of duties. These include ensuring ongoing adherence to the Firm’s data management policy, supporting the Bank USA Data Forum, acting as a key contact on data matters, and driving remediation of data quality risks and issues. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing and assessing UBS Bank USA data risk appetite statements, supporting Data Owners and Stewards in their respective roles, driving the implementation of end-to-end data lineage, and coordinating the assessment and governance of Bank owned AI use cases.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000, based on qualifications, experience, education, location, and skill level. The role may also be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For more information about benefits, visit ubs.com/usbenefits.

The UBS Bank USA Chief Data Office oversees all Bank data management and governance activities. This dedicated team of data professionals blends deep business acumen with program management capabilities, relationship management skills, and pragmatic mindsets.

Your Expertise

The ideal candidate should have experience with regulatory/management reporting, data management, governance, and controls within a financial services setting. A successful track record of working across large, cross-functional teams/projects and an ability to foster professional networks across the firm is essential.
