Job Description and Responsibilities
The Banking Associate plays a key role in delivering TD’s Brand promise. They are responsible for accurately completing daily banking transactions and providing advice on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. They also play a pivotal role in opening new accounts, educating customers on banking products and services, and managing customer relationships.
The Banking Associate also utilizes TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, acquire and deepen relationships, identify customer financial needs, promote and educate on relevant products and services, and refer customers to the appropriate team member or internal bank partner as needed. They ensure a positive customer experience and deliver legendary customer service.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or GED, and preference will be given to candidates with previous customer service or teller experience. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, make sound judgments, and solve problems effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
Physical Requirements
The role of Banking Associate involves both sedentary and physical work. Candidates should be comfortable performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and moving safely in confined spaces. Occasional lifting and carrying of items under 25 lbs may also be required.
