Job Description and Responsibilities
As a Banking Associate, the candidate will play a crucial role in delivering TD Bank’s brand promise at the store location. The role involves accurately completing everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and offering educational support on banking products and services. This position also requires helping customers achieve their financial goals.
The Banking Associate will perform a wide range of tasks across multiple areas in the store. These tasks include processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. Furthermore, the associate will build trust with customers, provide consultative support, and advocate with proactive insights and recommendations. The role also involves utilizing TD’s systems and tools to engage with customers, understand their financial needs, and promote products and services.
Education and Experience Requirements
The potential candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred. The candidate should also have demonstrated customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, effective problem-solving skills, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office. Teller experience is preferred, and a notary license is a plus.
