Job Description and Requirements
The Banking Associate is a professional in banking who plays a key role in everyday banking transactions, providing advice, and educational support on services, products, and tools to help Customers achieve their financial goals. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-year experience working with customers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within deadlines. Demonstrated customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and notary license are preferred.
Employee/Team and Customer Accountabilities
The Banking Associate will be expected to contribute to a positive work environment and collaborate with team members for the success of the team and organization. The role requires consistently providing legendary customer service while transacting, promoting, educating, and referring TD Products to new and existing customers. The associate will also be expected to understand and support the Bank’s customer service strategy and consider the impact of decisions on the well-being of TD, its customers, and stakeholders.
Shareholder Accountabilities
The Banking Associate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. This includes accurately processing cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions and other account servicing requests, and ensuring compliance with customer authentication principles, compliance regulations, and due diligence for new account openings and transactions.
Physical Requirements
The role may require occasional domestic travel, and necessitates performing multiple tasks, operating standard office equipment, and sitting, standing, and walking frequently. The associate may also be required to lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
