Wells Fargo, a leading financial institution, is on the lookout for an Associate Bank Financial Advisor (LO) as part of their Wealth and Investment Management team within the Wells Fargo Advisors unit. Role and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in Wells Fargo. The responsibilities include:

  • Participating in Wells Fargo Advisors training program to meet personal, professional, and organizational client service and financial goals within the Financial Advisory – Bank function.
  • Reviewing basic or tactical client goals and risk tolerance, assessing investment profiles, and evaluating client financial needs related to lower risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact.
  • Providing customer service and assessing needs of customers interested in a dwelling secured product and referring them to a SAFE team member. This role does not involve taking an application or offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction.

Those who occupy the LO position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Desired and Required Qualifications

Aspiring candidates for this role should have at least 6 months of Customer Service, Sales, Relationship Building experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam or equivalent is also a requirement for this role.

However, desirable qualifications include:

  • Successful completion of FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents).
  • Financial services experience.
  • Client services experience.
  • 6 + months of client or sales services experience.
  • Experience developing and managing client relationships.
  • Sales or sales support experience.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher.

These qualifications will help the candidate excel in the role.

Job Expectations and Requirements

Wells Fargo has set strict standards for this role. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. This includes meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements such as additional screening if necessary.

In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.

The successful candidate will be expected to abide by specific compliance policies regarding outside activities and/or personal investing. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process. Note that this position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship.

The position is located at 2585 State Hill Rd, Reading, PA 19610. The salary range for this position in PA is $60,000 -120,000, which reduces over time to a full commission position.
