Be Part of an Impactful Team – Business Banking Implementation Specialist I
Fiserv currently has an opening for a dynamic and talented individual to fill the role of Business Banking Implementation Specialist I. As part of the Digital Solutions Abiliti implementation team, the individual will be responsible for leading client implementations, providing training, consulting, and offering support throughout the project life cycle. The role involves implementing products primarily around online banking, including mobile, mobile deposits, ACH, wires, alerting, website, positive pay, tokens, and others.
The successful candidate will also serve as a Business Banking SME, responsible for overall client implementation across retail and business. They may also work on highly complex business banking aspects across a portfolio of projects. The role extends to configuring and troubleshooting business banking features, engaging clients on potential process changes, and guiding other Implementation Analysts with their projects and business banking scope items.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Banking Implementation Specialist I at Fiserv will have a range of responsibilities, including:
- Leading multiple implementation projects with defined timelines for Fiserv clients via phone, email, and web-based contact channels with minimal supervision.
- Acting as a liaison between various parties for projects that involve multiple product offerings or interfaces for Fiserv and third-party vendors.
- Developing and maintaining a full understanding of Fiserv products and services and staying abreast of relevant industry trends and best practices.
- Providing after-hours support, as well as the ability to adjust shift and work additional hours to support client implementations.
- Defining implementation procedures and assisting with client-facing documentation/training materials.
Required Skills and Experience
For this role, Fiserv is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience with Commercial/Business Banking either at a Financial Institution or at a Financial Services corporation serving banks or credit unions.
- 5+ years of experience with customer-facing projects or in a client support role.
- Financial Services Industry experience.
- Strong communication, research, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial:
- Fiserv core or Online Banking experience.
- Time management skills to work on multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
- Basic networking and data communication understanding.
- Project Management experience and/or PMP certification.
Work Culture and Environment
As a Business Banking Implementation Specialist I at Fiserv, you will work on-site from Monday through Friday. Fiserv values in-person collaboration as a crucial part of this role, contributing to a smoother onboarding experience and higher productivity levels.
