Job Description: Delivering TD’s Brand Promise

The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s brand promise at the Alton store location. This role entails accurately executing everyday banking transactions and providing advice to customers on various banking services, products, and tools. The primary goal is to empower customers to achieve their financial objectives.

Education & Experience: Essential Qualities for Success

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience working with customers. This experience can be demonstrated through any means, including volunteering, education, or military service. Previous teller experience, strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are highly desirable. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.

Customer Accountabilities: Ensuring Legendary Customer Service

The Banking Associate is expected to provide legendary customer service consistently while transacting, promoting, and educating TD Products to new and existing customers. The role involves managing wait times, engaging in lobby leadership, understanding the Bank’s customer service strategy, and driving referrals to Store colleagues and partners to support the broader, more complex financial needs of customers.

Shareholder Accountabilities: Upholding Compliance

Accurate processing of cash/deposit/withdrawal transactions, ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures, and adhering to required controls are key responsibilities under shareholder accountabilities. The Banking Associate will also be tasked with following policy and procedure for Customer Authentication and acting as a Dual Control agent when required.

As a member of the TD team, the Banking Associate will contribute to a positive work environment, act as a brand champion, collaborate with team members, and actively seek opportunities to improve work delivery. Physical Requirements: Ready for Dynamic Work

The role requires the ability to perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and to respond quickly to sounds. It involves frequent sitting, standing, and walking, along with occasional lifting or carrying items under 25 lbs. Domestic travel may be required occasionally.
