The Banking Associate plays a crucial role in delivering TD’s Brand promise at the store location. This role involves completing everyday banking transactions accurately, providing advice and educational support on services, products, and tools to help customers achieve their financial goals. The Banking Associate performs a wide range of tasks within a Store location, including processing customer transactions, opening new accounts, and educating customers on all banking products and services. They deliver end-to-end advice to customers by building trust, providing consultative support, and advocating with proactive insights and recommendations.[1]
Essential Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for the Banking Associate role should have a high school diploma or GED. One year of experience working with customers in any capacity is preferred. This can be demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience. The candidate should have demonstrated customer service skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and within deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A Notary License is preferred but not mandatory.[1]
Physical Requirements of the Job
The physical requirements of the Banking Associate job include performing sedentary work frequently, performing multiple tasks continuously, and operating standard office equipment continuously.
